What is DiSC®?
The DiSC® personality profile is a quantitative instrument that examines the behaviour of real-life situations. The questionnaire consists of 56 statements, each associated with one of the basic behavioural tendencies “Dominance”, “Inducement”, “Submission” and “Compliance”, there are 28 groups in short phrases. In each group a statement is rated either with “most likely” and “least likely”. By applying this forced-choice method, a centre tendency is avoided due to the even number of response options offered.
Using the DiSC® personality profile makes behaviour visible in real-life situations on the basis of questions that normally would need long observation time and communication exchanges.
